Kansas NPS Management Plan

Nonpoint source pollution refers to the transport of natural and man-made pollutants by rainfall or snowmelt moving over and through the land surface and entering lakes, rivers, streams, wetlands or ground water.

The Kansas NPS Pollution Management Plan is intended to outline a strategic plan for NPS management in Kansas that addresses the nine key program elements required by EPA and provide a framework for coordination and collaboration among agencies and organizations involved in NPS related management activities.
