Description of WRAPS Commitment:work with WRAPS to create a watershed-wide public awareness campaign through public meetings, area focus groups, civic groups and teachers within the watershed using the following approaches: Work with single communities in a watershed to undertake natural resource planning and water quality projects using a public engagement and education process. Organize and facilitate public meetings, focus groups, foster local partnership and network development. Assist communities with resources links for water quality projects: explore funding sources and assist with grants for BMP projects funding, link other WRAPS service providers to communities as needed. Develop Public Relations Campaigns: work with WRAPS to identify outreach methods, program recognition, develop list of local newspapers and periodicals for watershed-wide communication program. Work with local governments, civic groups and teachers on watershed program awareness, water quality education, and urban BMP practices.
