Organization Narrative

Geotechnical Services, Inc. (GSI) is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), veteran-owned business as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Established in 1973, GSI has been providing environmental consulting, geotechnical engineering, drilling services, and construction materials testing services for Midwest communities for more than 35 years. GSI professionals are committed to helping our clients manage risk associated with geoenvironmental issues and the quality control of materials and processes in construction projects. More than 7,500 clients have partnered with GSI because our engineers and geologists deliver economical and practical solutions to their difficult problems. GSI’s staff consists of more than 100 experienced environmental professionals, licensed geologists, geotechnical engineers, engineering technicians, safety-trained drilling personnel and community support staff.
