Organization Narrative

Terracon is a dynamic and growing consulting firm providing multiple related service lines to clients at local, regional, and national levels. Our services are delivered on a timely basis with consistently high value and attention to client needs. Services include Geotechnical, Environmental, Construction Materials, and Facilities Terracon’s Kansas offices, with approximately 200 employees, have provided engineering services in Kansas for more than 30 years. Terracon serves clients throughout the state from five locations: Wichita, Topeka, Kansas City, Manhattan, and Garden City. Our professionals are extremely knowledgeable about local geologic conditions, procedures and codes. Terracon is currently ranked 41st in Engineering News-Record’s 2008 listing of the “Top 500 Design Firms.” As a Kansas-based national engineering firm, Terracon has a national network of more than 100 offices in 35 states. By combining our national resources with specific local area expertise, we consistently overcome obstacles and deliver the results our clients expect and trust.
